I think
it's creeping back
(the weird bouts of fetal-position
narcoleptic depression
alternated with moments
of inappropriate
ecstatic joy)
and I don't know why
because nothing
is particularly wrong

I am trying
really hard
to ward it off
and to reach out
and talk about it
with people
but the words
always
fail
me

and that's the scariest part of all.
